Introduction
Welcome to Poker Trainer! Our app and web platform are designed to enhance your poker skills through practice and training. By accessing our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Acceptance of terms
By using Poker Trainer, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the service.
Payments and purchases
- Web purchases: We offer a lifetime purchase for our services accessed through our website, processed via Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s own Terms and Conditions.
- Mobile app purchases: For our mobile apps available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, we offer both monthly and yearly subscriptions, in addition to the lifetime purchase option. Subscription cancellations and refunds are managed through the respective platform’s policies.
Refunds and cancellations
Given our “try before you buy” approach, we do not automatically offer refunds. For cancellations and refunds of subscriptions, please refer to the Google Play or Apple App Store’s policies.
Premium plans
Users are limited to using premium plans on up to three devices for personal use only. Misuse of the service or attempts to bypass this limitation may result in access being revoked.
Updates to features and content
Continuous improvement: We regularly update the app’s features and content, including built-in preflop ranges, to enhance your learning experience.
User notification: If significant changes are made, we will inform you through the app or e-mail, providing resources to help you adapt to these updates.
Valuing feedback: Your feedback on updates is important. While we cannot implement all suggestions, we consider them crucial for our development process.
Adaptation support: We recognize the effort you have put into learning the app’s features. When significant changes occur, we aim to minimize disruption and, where feasible, offer resources or alternatives to ease the transition.
Lifetime purchases and future updates
Lifetime access: Lifetime purchases grant you access to the current version of Poker Trainer and any updates or improvements made to this version.
New generations: While we strive to continuously improve Poker Trainer, significant new generations or features may be developed as separate offerings. Access to these may incur additional costs. We will clearly communicate these situations and provide details on how to access new generations or features, ensuring our users have the option to enhance their experience.
User generated content
Users may create their own preflop ranges within the app. We understand the effort and time our users put into creating their custom preflop ranges. As such, we aim to safeguard these creations from accidental loss or removal. In the rare event that technical or operational challenges require modification or removal of these ranges, we will endeavor to notify affected users in advance and, where possible, provide alternatives or assistance to mitigate the impact.
Intellectual property
All content provided by Poker Trainer, including articles and training materials, is the property of Poker Trainer or used with permission. Users may not use this content outside of the app without prior written permission.
Dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute, efforts should be made to resolve the issue informally. If a resolution cannot be achieved, disputes will be submitted to and finally resolved by arbitration under the rules of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. The arbitration will be conducted in English.
Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through a news pop-up within the app, linking to the updated terms. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
